In February 2017, Lily of WorldBioHazTec wanted me to write a short introduction to a new newsletter she was going to send out via an email blast. Her main company, an international certifier-cum-trainer of biocontainment laboratories, had set up a sub-branch named Ted Traum Institute. The new institute would conduct courses in biosafety and lab operations, and wanted a newsletter to promote itself to its existing clientpool.

Lily wanted "short but powerful statements introducing Ted Traum Insitute".
Based on her request, I wrote the short introduction below for Ted Traum.


"Founded in 2016, Ted Traum Institute (TTI) is the new training arm of World BioHazTec.
As a forerunner in the biocontainment engineering field, its mission is to make a difference in enhancing the safety standards of, and certify biocontainment laboratories (around the world).

In line with its mission, TTI equips biocontainment laboratories with world-class safety and operational standards through a wide range of quality courses. Established speakers such as founding owners Mr. Theodore Traum and Mr. Juan Osorio; and Dr. Lee Kien Wah will share their expertise on the various aspects of biocontainment engineering.

TTI’s vision: to be your most preferred workplace learning safety partner."
